WHO WE SEEK
We are looking for a law graduate or junior lawyer (0-2 years of post-admission experience) who has a strong interest in corporate transactional work, including for ASX-listed companies. Our ideal candidate will have excellent research, writing and problem solving skills, and will be able to think commercially and practically in finding solutions and achieving results for our clients.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The role will broadly involve tasks such as:
Working and engaging with ASX-listed companies, established private businesses, directors, shareholders, startups, entrepreneurs, professional advisers, industry experts and regulatory bodies
Working on IPOs, capital raisings, M&A and other corporate transactions
Researching and advising on corporate compliance and other legal matters, including with respect to the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, Takeovers Panel, continuous disclosure and corporate governance
Reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, correspondence and other legal documents, including sale agreements, shareholder agreements, ASX applications and due diligence documents
